Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew as a child in Mexico with a family that loved music. She was raised listening to classical, old boleros along with the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana has a passion for the opera and tango genres as well as all forms of dramatic performance. Ana began learning and singing the piano with her mom, she began her more intensive training in singing when she was 16 under the renown Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca at Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. She performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young student and professional. Following her move from Mexico to America at the age of 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo with classical Latin American music at private performances. Alongside being an active performer as well as an instructor, her love of art and music has her engaged in a wide range of projects. Ana is also a previous part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Choir for their permission to play traditional Latin American song.
